There is a certain element of tranquility in the sand, driftwood, shells, and light reflecting on the water. The clean, simple, and elegant design of the vintage coastal style has captured my heart. Home is where the heart is and for my condo unit, I recently purchased some beautiful pieces from Coastal Cottage. The seaside elements and colors of the furniture are just perfect for my condominium.
Right on the historic Corey Avenue is a quaint shop called Coastal Cottage that offers a vast selection of quality up-cycled, vintage, and repurposed furniture. Their items are solid wood, reclaimed, hand-painted, and distressed. Coastal Cottage is a co-op of over 40 finest artisans, jewelers, and pickers in West Central Florida. Their collection of furniture is superb from dining tables and kitchen islands to bookshelves, cabinets, and tables.
Aside from furniture they also have home decors that will capture the theme of coastal-inspired Florida life. Other styles you may find are Farmhouse, Cottage, Shabby Chic, Industrial, French Glam, Live Edge, and Rustic creations.
The store mentioned that their inventory changes daily which makes it even more interesting to drop by and grab items that you may fall in love with. And if you’re up for it, they even have Chalk Painting Classes every Wednesday and Saturday.
