Right beside the St. Pete Beach Community Center is a beautiful waterfront park where friends and families can gather and have fun together. The 4.3-acre park has a lawn area that is well-maintained, a picnic pavilion with a water fountain, restrooms, a playground area for kids, a fair amount of parking, and beautiful views. Lots of birds also frequent the park so for bird watchers, this is a great opportunity to take some gorgeous shots.
The park hosts several community events such as concerts in the park during spring and in the month of October and an annual holiday boat parade. The events are free, just bring your chairs, friends, and family, and enjoy live entertainment. Food and beverage are available for purchase.
The park is named after Colonel Michael J. Horan, the mayor of St. Pete Beach from 1992 to 1996. Horan Park is located at 7701 Boca Ciega Dr.
