In moderation, drinking wine has been long regarded as healthy. The Florida Orange Groves Winery is the first and only tropical, berry, and citrus winery in Pinellas County. The family-owned and operated winery has over 40 types of fruit wines that both a newbie and wine connoisseurs would appreciate.
In the early 1970’s in Petersburg, Florida, the Shook family began shipping and packing fresh citrus. They eventually expanded to include retails sales of fresh squeezed juice and a gift shop. They started experimenting with fruit wines and developed their unique wines in 1991. In September 1997, they opened the Florida winery. They are currently a 100% fully operational working winery. Today they produce over 43 different varieties of premium tropical fruit wines. All of their premium specialty tropical, berry and citrus wines are made 100% from the juice indicated on the label. These are 100% pure tropical fruit wines. Using a special process of fermentation, aging, and bottling Florida Orange Groves Winery produce Florida’s only true to the flavor wines. Each individual variety of our wine tastes like the juice that it is made from.

You can join the wine tour that will give you a view on how wines are made and stored.
Also, you can visit the tasting room to try their wines to find your new favorite. You also get to enjoy a charcuterie board on weekend. Sampler was 4 for $10.
They also have a gift shop for those perfect and unique gifts. The winery is open for tours from Mondays to Saturdays at 10 am to 4 pm, and on Sundays at 12pm to 4pm. While the Tasting Room is open from Mondays to Saturdays at 9 am to 5:30 pm, and on Sundays at 12 pm to 5 pm.
