Having dedicated over a decade to educating young students in French Guiana, Philippe and his wife have made the exciting decision to embark on a new journey – establishing their own venture in a region they hold dear, Florida. The quaint French restaurant is located near the stunning Bay Island Condominiums along South Pasadena Avenue.

The vision for The Marquise Cafe is to evoke the ambiance of a “French family home,” drawing inspiration from their cherished memories of living in a beautiful ancestral chateau. The restaurant is fully committed to provide clients with an experience that resonates with warmth and authenticity. The bread was so crunchy, but soft inside and fresh, and the potatoes were very light and crispy. The crepe my partner ordered was also very good and In be sure to try one next time! Coffee is also delicious and they have a good variety of options!”

Their menu consists of all-time breakfast favorites like Croissant Egg & Bacon, Shirred Eggs (Eggs Cocotte), Eggs St Pete, American and French breakfasts. They also offer crepes, sandwiches and wraps, as well as pastries.

For the family with kids, they offer a kid’s menu.

For lunch, feast on their specialties such as The “Croque-Monsieur,” French Veggie Quiche, Burgundi Escargots, or The “Croque-Madame,” among others. Feel even more special when you try their Boeuf Bourguignon, Roasted Camembert, and Crevettes à la Bretonne.
